Specifically, the European Commission intends to incorporate 34 additional substances into Annex I of the PIC Regulation (<em><strong>Regulation (EU) No 649\/2012<\/strong>)<\/em>. This regulatory shift is designed to ensure that importing countries outside the European Union are fully aware of and consent to the hazards associated with these materials before they cross borders.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For chemical manufacturers, distributors, and logistics providers operating within the EU, this update triggers an immediate compliance clock. If any of these 34 newly listed substances are exported from the EU, they will be strictly subject to the official export notification procedure as of <strong>1 October 2026<\/strong>.
