The European Union<\/strong> is preparing<\/strong> for one of the most significant overhauls of its chemicals regulation in nearly two decades<\/strong>, as the European Commission moves forward with a proposal to revise the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) Regulation<\/strong>. A central feature of this reform is the introduction of a ten-year validity limit on REACH registration dossiers<\/strong>, a move that has received cautious support from most EU member states and Norway.<\/p>\n
