They are found in products such as inks and toners, adhesives and sealants and washing and cleaning products.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>The inclusion of these substances on the Candidate List signifies that ECHA is considering regulating them further under the <a href=\"https:\/\/nordiik.com\/en\/chemical-consultancy-services\/register-chemical-substances-reach\/\"><strong>REACH Regulation<\/strong><\/a> (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) due to their potential to cause harm.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Agency will now undertake a thorough assessment of these substances to determine whether they should be added to the Authorisation List, which restricts the use of hazardous chemicals.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ECHA&#8217;s decision to add these substances to the Candidate List reflects its commitment to protecting human health and the environment from the harmful effects of chemicals. The Agency&#8217;s efforts to regulate SVHCs are crucial for ensuring a safer and more sustainable future for all.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ECHA\u2019s Member State Committee has confirmed the addition of these substances to the Candidate List.
