This regulation was published on December 31, 2008, after the criteria for classification proposed by the <b>United Nations\u2019 Globally Harmonized System (GHS) <\/b>was adopted.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #0299cb;\"><strong>The CLP Regulation <\/strong>repealed Directives 67\/548\/EEC and 1999\/45\/EC and forced all<strong> chemical industries <\/strong>to adapt to new criteria for classification.<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Regulation (EC) n\u00ba 1272\/2008 (CLP) <\/b>is one of the most influential EU regulations. This notification must be completed before the substance is sold.
